Accessibility statement
Last updated
poun should work for everyone, including your customers who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion. This statement covers this website and, once it opens, the poun service and the pages and forms it publishes.
1. Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This website partly conforms: we know of no failures, but it hasn’t yet had a full independent audit.
2. What we've done
- Body text is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for low-vision readers.
- Colours are checked against WCAG contrast ratios, in both light and dark mode.
- Everything works with a keyboard. Interactive pieces, such as the feature loop, also work with arrow keys and plain buttons.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, every animation stops.
- Every form field has a label, and errors are announced to screen readers.
3. How we check
We run automated accessibility checks on every page before release, and test with a keyboard only and at phone widths. Automated checks don’t catch everything, so we’ll add testing with screen readers and with disabled users before the service opens.
4. Known issues
None known on this website right now. If you find one, please tell us: it’s a bug and we’ll fix it.
5. Tell us what's in your way
If anything on poun is hard to use, write to [contact email]. Tell us the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 5 working days, and we can send you any information from this site in another format.
